Our Supergreen Kraut is packed with 8 superfoods! Including nettles, morenga, chickweed, dandelion, cilantro, parsley, plantain and spinach. Tastes just as delicious as the rest of our krauts and is possibly even more nutritious! Shelf Life: An unopened jar of Kraut is shelf stable and can be kept in your pantry for up to a year. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and consume within one year of opening. When opening your jar for the first time, open slowly over the sink in case any of the brine leaks out as the pressure is released. We make our vegan kimchi using traditional practices but WITHOUT the use of fish sauce, shrimp and anchovies (often used in heritage recipes). We also make sure to NOT include wheat, rice or sugar, which is also commonly used.
- Traditionally Fermented - We ferment in micro-batches, hand cut the vegetables and NEVER ferment in plastic to ensure no contamination from plasticizers. We pack all our products in glass jars. We also never use sugar or vinegar in our process, it’s all wild fermentation!
