Because our live-culture krauts are raw and unpasteurized, they will continue to be active even once they’re hand packed into the jar! Refrigeration slows the fermentation activity down to a seeming halt, and is recommended but not technically necessary.

Putting your clean jar into a bowl and opening it ~slowly~ will prevent messes and allow you to either pour the kraut juice back into the jar or take a shot of the delicious, probiotic packed brine!

These are once a weekend + year round positions that we would love to fill with locals.

Our team consists of friendly, engaging people who are self-motivated and passionate about learning and teaching others about good food!

Consistency in availability + ability to set up, lift up to 50 pounds, and basic math is required. Sales and customer service experience is not necessary but preferred.
